Hi! My name is Marius Ashford Moore. Sysigia Studios is currently a solo project, encompassing my past creative endeavors and my current and future visions. I’d love to involve more people though, and help to create a space for people to make cool things together.

As you can see at the bottom of the site, Sysigia is an ancient word of Greek origin. I discovered it while browsing some dictionaries of musical terms that were quite old themselves. It’s hard to find any references to this word online. It seems to have gone out of use.

But it means basically a pleasing combination of sounds – more specifically a combination of sounds that shouldn’t sound good together, but somehow do.

Within Sysigia Studios I’ll be combining music, film, artwork, design, writing, and any other creative outlets that I want to explore. And I’ll be working to help others make their creative visions a reality too.
